BTS CAMPAIGN SHOOT FW25

THE BEST MOMENTS? LETS BE REAL: THEY RARELY GO AS PLANNED.

By the time the alarm went off, Tev was already up. As the founder and creative director of Tevlore, she had a feeling: today would either run like clockwork—or become a story the team would tell for years. It ended up being both.

10AM: EAST LONDON STUDIO

By 10 am, the studio was buzzing with that electric pre-shoot energy. While the rest of the team made their way in, Tev was already steaming the clothes, setting up the accessories for the After-Hours collection, and making final tweaks to a vision that had taken over a year to bring to life. The team trickled in one by one: Mollie behind the camera, Niamh on makeup, Jaz working hair magic, Alex capturing all the behind-the-scenes moments, and assistants Teni and Naz ready to keep things moving. Model Ines would soon take centre stage and tie everything together.

A QUICK CHANGE OF PLAN

You can plan a shoot down to the tiniest detail, but fashion shoots have their unique personality. The first mishap came early; the red backdrop they'd planned for? In person, it looked way too pink. Not exactly the After-Hours vibe.

"We just had to change to brown," Tev explains. "And honestly, it ended up being perfect. It's one of our brand colours anyway, and it captured exactly the mood we were going for." This is fashion. You roll with it.

THE COLLECTION THAT TOOK OVER A YEAR

The collection we'd come to capture represented months of design, sampling and pure determination:

There was the Monroe Dress - the only black gown you'll ever need, with a lace detail hidden in the back like a secret. The Nairobi is bold and dramatic, with its sculptural sleeves and removable fur cuffs. The Lumina, clean and white, is a true representation of understated luxury. And finally, the Mongolian fur coat — the wild card. A single jacket that can elevate any piece it touches.

DAMAGE CONTROL

Of course, London chose that day to be sweltering. There is no AC in the studio — just one heroic fan doing its best. Music kept the mood alive but then came the day's biggest problem: body makeup had stained the white Lumina dress in the most obvious place. The only sample. On a day with no backups.

And Then Things Got Real: By noon, in the peak of the heatwave, Tev was out on the street with Naz sun-drying a freshly washed dress. Sometimes, a girl's got to do what a girl's got to do.

"This was not part of the plan," Tev Laughs. "But we've figured it out. That's the thing about shoots – you've just got to be ready for whatever it throws at you."

THE ARTISTRY

Niamh kept the makeup skin-focused and radiant; the vibe was natural but elevated. Jaz styled Ines's natural texture into soft waves for that effortlessly chic vibe.

They started with e-commerce shots: clean, detailed, and product-focused. Then came the creative shots, where everything started to come together.

"The shots in the Lumina dress were so dreamy," Tev reflects. "That's when we knew this dress was truly the swan of the collection. And seeing the Mongolian fur coat styled with that red lip - everything clicked exactly how I envisioned it."

After three months of planning the shoot and a year of building the collection, seeing it through Mollie's lens was surreal. Those "oh damn, I did this" moments don't come around often.

THE REALITY OF BEING FOUNDER AND CREATIVE DIRECTOR

Even with assistants, Tev was everywhere - steaming, styling, adjusting, directing. When it's your vision, some times you have to roll up your sleeves.

"It was a weird feeling," she admits. "I wanted to be involved in everything, make sure it was exactly what I had in my head."

Seeing the pieces on Ines - moving, catching light, coming alive was unreal - emotional even.

THE VIBES

Between the dress mayhem and the boiling heat, the vibe remained immaculate. Torres Black Truffle crisps became the unofficial fuel of the day, proof that a good shoot runs on creativity and carbs.

4:30 PM: THAT'S A WRAP

They wrapped 30 minutes over schedule – not that anybody noticed.

After packing up, part of the team headed to for a late lunch — to decompress, scroll through the BTS shots captured and breathe. Post-shoot meals hit differently when you've just made something special.

LOOKING BACK

"There are things I could've done to make the day smoother, having more than one sample on-site for one", Tev reflects. "But honestly? It was a successful shoot. The unexpected moments, the problem-solving, the teamwork! — that's all part of the story now, and I'm proud of what we've done."

The After Hours collection embodies everything Tevlore stands for: pieces for every type of Tevlore woman, designed for those moments when day gives way to night, and the ordinary becomes extraordinary.

Sometimes, the best campaigns come from the days when nothing goes according to plan — but everything goes exactly as it should.
